この年で創立175周年を迎える同社は、フランスの首都に既に高級なオペラ地区に店舗を構えています。
新しい店舗は、伝説的なシャンゼリゼ通りの62番地にある976平米の敷地で、現在はクイックレストランチェーンの店舗がバーガーを販売しています。
シャンゼリゼ通りは毎年数百万人の観光客を迎え、ルイ・ヴィトンの旗艦店やアバクロンビー＆フィッチ、バナナリパブリックなどのアメリカの衣料品小売業者を含む高級店舗が増えています。
「シャンゼリゼ通りに店舗を設置することは、ティファニーが真にグローバルな高級ブランドとしての究極の象徴になるでしょう」と同社のエグゼクティブVPフレデリック・キュメナールは語っています。
